A leading diversified energy services provider is looking for an Internal Auditor Asisstant who is a professional in ensuring organizations and companies have accurate accounting throughout the year with a disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Job Location: Lagos



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices.


• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.


• Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.


• Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing.


• Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.


• Participate in preparation for the annual audit.


• Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies.


• Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 

• Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases.


• Understanding of data analysis.


• Knowledge of general treasury, forecasting, budgeting and relaxed accounting.


• Excellent in organization and auditing skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION 

• BSc. in accounting or related field from a recognized university.


• Proven experience as an Assistant Auditor or other similar position
