Job Objection
- To support the finance department in the management of daily accounting tasks and contribute to the overall operations of the department.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with clerical work such as data entry, sorting and documents filing at the office and respective regulatory authority offices.
- Assist with bank account reconciliations
- Assist with expense tracking, monitoring and evaluation.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update daily, bills and records, and cross-check invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Qualification and Job Requirements
- B.Sc / BA in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field.
- 1 - 2 years of cognate experience in a similar capacity
- ICAN certification will be an added advantage
Specialised Knowledge:
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Ms Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to changing work priorities and environment.
- Demonstrated analytical, leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to keep confidential accounting/financial information.
- Ability to pay keen attention to details.
