Description

• The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of aviation turbine kerosene (ATK) from loading depots to discharge depots.


• The driver will also be responsible for maintaining the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition, and reporting any issues to the Logistics Manager.

Job Description

• Transport aviation turbine kerosene (ATK) from loading depots to discharge depots.


• Ensure that the truck is loaded safely and securely and that the product is properly secured.


• Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure that it is in good working condition and report any issues to the Logistics Manager.


• Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Maintain accurate records of all trips, including fuel usage, mileage, and delivery times.


• Ensure that all required paperwork, including waybills and PTN, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.


• Communicate effectively with the Logistics Manager and other team members.


• Provide excellent customer service to our clients.


• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager

Job Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.


• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.


• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in the oil and gas industry.


• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.


• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks.


• MUST be willing to provide 2 suitable guarantors


• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
