Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle and take care of all assigned properties.
- Create business plans for assigned properties.
- Design and manage budgets expenditures.
- Plan and coordinate all building-related activities.
- Manage waste disposal, recycling, and other.
- Respond to the emergency needs in a timely manner.
- Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual inspections as required for a specific asset.
- Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants, external clients, and internal clients.
- Ensure good condition of facilities.
- Monitor and manage facilities' security systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Keep track of inventory items.
- Document and advise on needs for equipment repairs.
- Supervise, educate and train properties’ personnel.
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
- Collaborate and maintain relationships with contractors.
- Supervise contractors and vendors when the facility is in use.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Management or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management or relevant roles.
- In-depth knowledge of property management and its financial aspects.
- Experience with contracting, procurement, and proposal processes.
- Experience with the maintenance of large facilities.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to discharge his or her duties with little or no supervision.
