The L&D Senior Associate serves as the project manager of core L&D services (except assigned to a specific service line – open training, e-learning or implant) and operations.
The responsibility is to help coordinate and manage all operations of L&D core services: preparing marketing materials, selling L&D services, preparing for and attending client meetings, conducting needs analysis, objectives setting, programme/curriculum design, content development, implementation, evaluation and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Third-level review of official L&D documents - proposal, engagement letters, memos emails and reports.
Supervises / is responsible for quality work and activities of the L&D SAs, ESAs & Interns and provides adequate coaching support for them.
Delegate all admin and core functions to team members (SAs, ESAs and Interns) and monitor and track performance. Provide feedback to team members and to the performance manager.
Facilitate Training Sessions.
Responsible for conducting needs analysis, should be able to interpret client briefs and generate training curriculum with minimal supervision.
Develop Training Modules with no supervision: able to research and develop appropriate tools needed for training sessions (Cases studies, videos, games, activities and exercises).
Ensure that all team members are motivated, engaged and productive.
Manage the performance and development of the team.
Build new relationships and deepen existing ones for business development.
Create innovative ideas to improve L&D processes.
Routine check on the quality of information captured on the L&D Data Base / Tracker.
Prepare/ review weekly and monthly reports on training activities, showing jobs done, and financials standing.
Manage logistics when travelling for training engagements (Checking Inn, Excess Luggage, Trolleys and Luggage movements, Custodian of Receipts) in the absence of an SA and Intern.
REQUIREMENTS
First degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Humanities or a related discipline with a minimum of a 2nd Class Upper grade from an accredited university.
Minimum of five (5) years learning and development experience preferably from a Human Resources Consulting environment.
Possession of a Post Graduate degree and relevant professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, e.tc. will be an added advantage.
