Job Description



Job Purpose



  • Ensure compliance to company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications among staff.


Job Duties



  • Ensure the monitoring and programming critical control points in all outlets.

  • Responsible for monitoring product food safety and quality throughout the production process.

  • Manage corrective and preventive action process; including failure, investigation and root-cause analysis regarding food quality.

  • Conduct Water and Food Item Analysis across all outlet; also following up on the laboratories on the result of the tests.

  • Responsible for managing quality standards on the production lines by liaising with the Outlet Managers and Production Supervisors.

  • Ensure the correct recipe guidelines for products are adhered to.

  • Periodically vet outlets’ filling of record logs and documentation during outlet visit.

  • Ensure freshness, wholesomeness and cleanliness of all fruits, vegetables and other ingredients used in production.

  • Responsible for creating, revising and maintaining a library of all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.

  • Ensure that all products and procedures are in compliance with established specifications and regulatory standards while liaising with Government Regulatory Bodies.

  • Ensure that all new regulations are accurately implemented at all outlets and suppliers.

  • Continually improve the system, processes, and make suggestions for changes and improvements.

  • Conducts routine inspection in all outlets, ensuring controls and documentation procedures.

  • Ensure strict compliance to hygiene standards and quality protocol among staff.


Qualification



  • Minimum of B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biochemistry or any related discipline.

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in quality assurance for QSR.

  • Experience in developing industry standard SOPs and Policies.

  • Practical knowledge of Process Improvement methodologies such as Total Quality Management, Six Sigma etc.

  • Practical knowledge of Food Safety Management and Lean Production.
