Summary.



  • The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for successfully managing digital strategy for client brands.

  • The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digitally to all other aspects of client business and drive growth opportunities.


Responsibilities:



  • Develops unique strategies and builds upon current client strategies within the digital space to meet/exceed objectives.

  • Develops strong, trusting relationships between clients and agency partners, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution

  • Manages client expectations, bringing issues/concerns to clients' attention before they become problems, offering potential solutions, and advising of potential delivery delays

  • Proactively keeps abreast of assigned clients' marketing and media plans, providing technological solutions including rich media, site optimization, promotional ideas, mobile, social networks, and viral.

  • Writes communications briefs, ensuring that creative and media are effectively integrated

  • Manages research studies that yield rich insights into consumer online behavior and key motivational/attitudinal behavior

  • Develop digital marketing strategies across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and content marketing

  • Plan SEO best practices to improve website visibility, traffic, and search engine rankings

  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, using data to drive strategic decisions and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI by working closely with the data analytics team.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and techniques, and recommend new strategies to clients and internal teams

  • Mentor and train junior team members on digital marketing best practices and industry trends


Requirements:



  • 7-10 years of full-time experience in digital marketing and advertising (digital experience required)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field. A marketing degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Media, and Technical Delivery Specialists

  • Should have delivered technology projects related to brand or marketing strategy

  • Experience working with multiple digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC, and content marketing

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive strategic decisions and optimize campaigns

  • Experience with global MNCs, Advertising groups, or Digital agencies will be preferred
