Job Objective(s)
- Repair/routine maintenance of the Bank’s Fleet.
- Allocation and re-allocation of vehicles to branches and departments.
- Renewal of vehicle licenses, hackney permit, road worthiness etc.
- Vehicle inspection and monitoring.
- Funding of the Total Fuel cards
- Funding of the fleet management cards
- Supervising the Bank’s drivers.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
Financial:
- Ensure all budgeted items are not exceeded.
Process:
- Development, Management and Administration of transport programs and systems
- Management of Drivers
- Investigation and reporting of all/attempted security breaches in conjunction with Internal Control.
- Provision of professional guidelines and make input into the administration and acquisition of vehicles and motorbikes.
- Liaison with vendors, Insurance Company and other relevant authority e.t.c.
Customer:
- All Staff, Branches and Depts., Service Workshops Vendors
Team:
- Motivate, share ideas and provide on-the-job training for the entire Ecobank Business Services Staff
- Manage and supervise Transport functions for the Bank.
Job Requirements
Education:
- A Good University Degree with a minimum of 2:2
- Possession of a professional certificate in transport management will be considered an advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in transport/fleet management of a commercial Bank and/or other corporate organization.
