About the Job



  • You will be responsible for providing support to the HR manager in various administrative tasks and assisting with HR processes.

  • You will gain practical experience in HR operations, policies, and procedures, and contribute to the overall success of the department.

  • Success in this position looks like effectively assisting with HR tasks, maintaining confidentiality, displaying professionalism in communication and behaviour, and contributing to a positive work environment.


Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including but not limited to filing, data entry, preparing HR documents, scheduling interviews, and managing HR calendars.

  • Assist with HR processes, such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee recordkeeping.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, and direct them to appropriate resources for further assistance.

  • Maintain and update HR databases and employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Assist with organizing and coordinating HR events, training, and meetings.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Stay up-to-date with HR laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience in HR or related field is a plus, but not required.
