Responsibilities



  • Installation of workstations.

  • End-user support for executives, office personnel, and other key business stakeholders; this could include installation and configuration of hardware and software applications, as well as some security functions such as password resets, etc.

  • Experience working with active directories, domain, etc.

  • E-mail, A/V conferencing, VoIP device replacement and configuration.

  • Support of enterprise solutions including Microsoft Office365, Exchange e-mail, Anti-Virus software.

  • Provide timely and efficient executive-level support.

  • Provide technical support on commonly used applications and devices (MFD network printers, O365 Applications, etc.)

  • Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them

  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks

  • Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues

  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

  • Replace parts as required

  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports

  • Support the roll-out of new applications

  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues

  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs

  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)

  • Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time

  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers

  • Test and evaluate new technology

  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification

  • 2 - 5 years of support experience in an enterprise environment using Windows and some Apple/Mac hardware.

  • Application support for Microsoft Office365, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online.

  • Operating Systems: Windows Server, Mac OS X (Server/Workgroup Manager), iOS and Windows 7 through 10.

  • HP printer installation and configuration.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively operate independently as well as in a team environment.
