Job Brief

• We are in search of a talented Graphics Designer who would readily translate concepts and ideas into creative visual representations usable for both print and electronic media.


• The role will conceptualize and design content for use on the organization's website, social media, and other digital platforms.


• This role has art directing responsibilities; the role holder will manage a team of graphic designers to showcase the organization through creative designs that align with the organization’s brand elements and promises.

Responsibilities

The Ideal candidate will perform the following functions:

• Translate concepts and ideas into creative visual designs.


• Work closely with the creative and media teams to execute ideas.


• Receive briefs from teams and develop them into creative concepts that accurately capture the shared ideas.


• Research and keep abreast of emerging design trends and practices


• Confer and collaborate with stakeholders, to determine needs, develop and refine designs.


• Follow branding requirements and policy.


• Collaborate with others to develop or refine designs


• Create and improve graphics for Web Designs and other related projects.


• Manage department processes, priorities and design and coordinate the activities of subordinates

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Degree in any related discipline


• Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in a fast-paced media environment with at least 1 year experience in a supervisory role


• Strong Computer skills.


• Creative flair, originality, and strong visual sense.


• Able to work well in a team and effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.


• Proficiency with Adobe's suite of products including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and graphic design trends generally.
