About the job
The ideal candidate will engage in Management Accounting Functions which includes
- Manage and continually improve, simplify, standardize, and further automate the group’s separate and consolidated monthly financial reports.
- Prepare concise and highly professional Board-level presentations on the group results, telling the story behind the numbers for the group’s top decision-makers.
- Prepare ‘what-if’ analysis and models by building business cases, scenarios, simulations, and sensitivity analysis for informed decision making on the Group’s investments.
- Manage all of the Group’s planning processes from beginning to end: the annual budget, rolling forecasts and long-term plans.
- Ensure the effective implementation of budgetary controls and monitoring for all Operating companies in the group.
- Undertake detailed analysis of variances, underscore the root cause, and recommend necessary action points.
- Ensure integrity of accounting entries in the company’s records
- Preparation of periodic Group Management reports
EDUCATION
- First degree in Accounting,
- Accounting Professional Qualification: Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA
- Advance Excel & PowerPoint Skills
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience in senior FP&A role/s in medium to large enterprises
- Experience in deploying Vena (an FP&A software solution) will be a distinct advantage.

- Sound Knowledge of the Applicable Accounting Standards & IFRS
- Advance user of excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Advance analytical skills
