Job Description
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals
Lead the Finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis for multiple locations and entities
Manage the financial planning and analysis function, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for multiple locations and entities
Oversee the accounting function, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations
Develop and maintain relationships with investors and other external stakeholders, including banks and financial institutions across multiple jurisdictions
Lead the treasury function, managing cash flow and liquidity across multiple jurisdictions, and developing and implementing risk management strategies
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions, and manage the tax function
Develop and implement internal controls and processes to ensure the integrity of financial information across multiple locations and entities
Manage the financial due diligence process for potential acquisitions and other strategic initiatives across multiple jurisdictions
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the executive leadership team
Monitor and analyse industry trends, and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Ensure financial systems are up to date and properly used by the team
Manage corporate financing, refinancing, and manage the relations with banks and other lending institutions
Oversee audit preparation and coordination for the company
Design and implement risk management policies, including financial, credit, and exchange risks
Provide effective communication of financial data, results, and insights to the leadership team and board of directors, ensuring data is presented in a clear and concise manner
Role Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 8 years in a senior financial leadership role
Global experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideally in the technology or consumer goods sectors
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to manage and develop a team of finance professionals in multiple locations and entities
Experience with fundraising, M&A, and other strategic transactions
Familiarity with technology and software systems used in finance and accounting
