JOB BRIEF



  • Insurance marketing managers are responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase the visibility and profitability of insurance products and services. They ensure that customers’ needs are identified while also creating effective marketing campaigns.


JOB DESCRIPTION



  • Develop and execute marketing strategies: Develop marketing plans and strategies to promote insurance products and services. Collaborate with other marketing professionals to ensure a cohesive marketing message across all channels.

  • Conduct market research: Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential opportunities for new insurance products and services. Use this information to create marketing campaigns that target specific customer segment.

  • Manage marketing budget: Allocate marketing resources effectively to achieve business objectives while staying within budget constraints.

  • Create marketing materials: Develop marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements to promote insurance products and services.

  • Monitor campaign performance: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to assess effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.

  • Collaborate with other departments: Work with other departments to ensure that the marketing strategy aligns with the overall business goals.

  • Sales and business development: Generate leads, nurture prospects and close deals. This includes identifying potential customers, building relationships with them and converting them to clients.

  • Customer Retention: Maintain cordial and professional relationship with clients while also expanding your network to build your client base.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Stay informed about changes in the insurance industry and emerging trend to stay ahead of the competition.

  • SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to identify and grow a strong customer base; and develop the insurance brokerage business.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing automation software.

  • Knowledge of social media marketing is a plus.

  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills

  • Outstanding time management skills


REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance marketing, preferably in the financial and Investment Broker Industry.

  • Candidates with MSc degree is an added advantage

  • Membership to CIIN or any other relevant certification is a plus

  • Strong understanding of insurance products and services.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
