Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance and repair of Blowout Preventer (BOP) stack, control and support systems, hydraulic and mechanical components and component interface/support systems.


• Monitor all rig subsea systems operation and direct troubleshooting and repairs as necessary for operations.


• Implement and uphold safety and environmental compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Recognized Marine / Engineering qualification from Maritime College or equivalent;


• 8+ years of related experience and education/training in hydraulics and fluid system maintenance and repair, superior knowledge of BOPS and control systems and associated procedures; of riser tensioners and CMC functions; and of all wellhead equipment and running tools


• Ability to perform accurate calculations for riser runs and tensioners


• Completion of all training requirements for the position within the designated time period.


• Nigerian in country resident


• Fluent English communication skills (both oral and written).
