Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance and repair of Blowout Preventer (BOP) stack, control and support systems, hydraulic and mechanical components and component interface/support systems.


• Monitor all rig subsea systems operation and direct troubleshooting and repairs as necessary for operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• 10+ years of well control equipment experience.


• Experience on a MUX systems and DP operations are mandatory


• Education and training in hydraulics and fluid system maintenance and repair;


• Superior knowledge of BOP's, control systems, riser tensioners, motion compensation systems, wellhead equipment, riser systems and associated procedures


• Previous experience with API, DNV, and ABS certifying authorities, with detailed knowledge of API, U.S. CFR'S, ABS.


• Nigerian in country resident


• Fluent English communication skills (both oral and written).
