Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
Develops training and development programs and objectives.
Administers spending against the departmental budget.
Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
Trains and coaches managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts.
Plans, organizes, facilitates, and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Source for facilitators for different industries for clients and in-house.
Modifies programs as needed.
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Works effectively with team members and other members of management and the HR staff.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (master’s degree is preferred)
3-5 years of experience in Training and Development, training sales,
Must be able to drive training sales
First-hand experience in providing business development training
Excellent interpersonal, and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
