Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative and functional design
- Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
- Leading all aspects of the design process
- Ensuring proper annotation, formatting and documentation of project files.
- Following up with the construction team to ensure adherence to project specifications
- Providing the necessary data to the subcontractors and the different parties involved in a project.
- Ensuring compliance of construction detail documentation to quality control and best practices.
- Ensuring the project remains on time and within specifications.
- Creating progress reports, time schedules, and revised budgets.
- Reconnaissance visits to construction sites
- Using recce measurements to produce highly detailed 2D drawings
- Making on-site visits to check on project status and report on project
- Achieve the defined targets and performance indicators
- Coordinating and leading artisans on construction sites
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven working experience as an architect
- Strong portfolio to prove artistic skill
- Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software
- Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
- Visual awareness and an eye for detail
- Communication and project management skills
- B.sc degree in Architecture or its equivalent
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar job role is a must.
- Competency in Autocad, 3Ds Max, Revit. Lumion
- Design skills and knowledge of building and construction. to be thorough and pay attention to detail
