DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative and functional design


• Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals


• Leading all aspects of the design process


• Ensuring proper annotation, formatting and documentation of project files.


• Following up with the construction team to ensure adherence to project specifications


• Providing the necessary data to the subcontractors and the different parties involved in a project.


• Ensuring compliance of construction detail documentation to quality control and best practices.


• Ensuring the project remains on time and within specifications.


• Creating progress reports, time schedules, and revised budgets.


• Reconnaissance visits to construction sites


• Using recce measurements to produce highly detailed 2D drawings


• Making on-site visits to check on project status and report on project


• Achieve the defined targets and performance indicators


• Coordinating and leading artisans on construction sites

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven working experience as an architect


• Strong portfolio to prove artistic skill


• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software


• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions


• Visual awareness and an eye for detail


• Communication and project management skills


• B.sc degree in Architecture or its equivalent


• 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar job role is a must.


• Competency in Autocad, 3Ds Max, Revit. Lumion


• Design skills and knowledge of building and construction. to be thorough and pay attention to detail
