The Digital Marketing Manager will perform the following functions:
- Oversee briefing of social media copy, usage of hashtags, and alignment with brand tone of voice.
- Plan and manage social media campaigns in their entirety, then analyse and evaluate the results to see which programs were most effective.
- Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with campaigns or other brand messages.
- Oversee the execution of social community management and dialogue moderation.
- Manage the social media budget to maximise ROI and achieve business plans.
- Regularly provide reports and campaign analysis.
- Drive the process of creating dedicated marketing calendar inclusive of content, social and wider brand campaigns.
- Create informative, thought provoking, problem solving and entertaining content for all social channels to increase engagement and awareness.
- Build and maintain relationships with the wider EbonyLife family of talents, clients and ambassadors.
- Develop the infrastructure and drive the process of measuring and evaluating success across your team including monthly reports and orchestrating weekly team meetings.
- Train team on new trends, consumer behavior, upcoming technologies and other industry developments.
- Post and engage daily with our community - answering questions and continuing the conversation.
- Any other task as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field
- 3 - 5 years relevant work experience in digital marketing and analytics
- Good understanding of marketing principles
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
- Experience in brand and marketing strategy
- Excellent knowledge of MS office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online Analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Good organizational skills and demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Great people skill.
