Education



  • Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or related courses.

  • Degree in Arts or Social Sciences with experience in managing a medical facility may be considered

  • Membership of related professional associations is an advantage

  • 5 - 8 years relevant work experience.


Competencies:

Preferred candidates should be competent in the following areas:



  • Administration and management of a diagnostics centre

  • Setting up the laboratory equipment to conduct research and monitor experiments

  • Collecting, studying and testing samples such as cells, tissues, blood samples, bacteria

  • Recording findings and analyzing the results

  • Revenue generation strategies in a laboratory centre.
