Job Description
The sales manager is tasked with achieving the sales goals of the company. Develop and implement sales strategies, oversee the training and development of the sales team, and analyze sales data to make informed decisions in alignment with and achievement of the set objectives and key results(OKR).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Being the interface between the company and her customers.
- Preparing sales budget and projections and approving expenditure.
- Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues.
- Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts.
- Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocations.
- Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales results.
- Serve as the customer interface and coordinate the marketing to generate sales through strategic partnership.
- Overseeing and driving performance of the sales team.
- Driving the commercial business aspect of the organization
- Prepare a personal quarterly work plan in alignment with company OKR.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the Agency banking space
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform sales strategies and tactics
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies and plans, and achieving sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a sales team to achieve resultsProven track record of success in sales management, including the ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
