Job Responsibilities

Below are the required job responsibilities of a Chemical Sales Representative:



  • Ability to identify prospective customers.

  • Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.

  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

  • Reach out to customer leads.

  • Generating sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients

  • Negotiating contracts with prospective clients, and providing adequate quotations and proposals.

  • Accelerate the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

  • Achieve targets and outcomes within scheduled timeframe.

  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.

  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitiveactivities, and potential for new products and services

  • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.


Job Requirements



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.

  • Minimum of 4 years work experience.
