Our Field Service Technicians are responsible for ensuring that our customers machinery and equipment remains at optimum performance.
The successful candidate will provide on-site technical support, including the repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair, troubleshooting problems and proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance programmes.
The Field Service Technicians are at the core of an extensive support network of service personnel worldwide.
These trusted advisors are the key customer representatives, responsible for confirming, clarifying and meeting the customers’ expectations at every stage of contact and on every service project relating to our machines.
The Field Service Technician possesses a strong background in the principles of electricals or mechanicals systems.
They think logically and enjoy solving problems with creativity, diligence and above all else, focus on excellent customer service.
Locations :
The base location will be Lagos (Nigeria).The function is mainly on customers sites all over the region (Africa & Middle-East) and requires extensive travelling (70%)
Experience/ Knowledge:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in the maintenance & repair of BOBST Products (Labels, Flexible packaging) or similar equipments
Ability to diagnose faults and make recommendations in customer environment
Strong analysis skills and attention to detail
Independent, responsible work style
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the Region Africa & Middle-East and in Europe (for multiple trainings)
Electrical/Electronic degree minimum on Technical High School or University
