Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of budgets, financial statements, and completion of accounting transactions.


• Inventory and assets’ management.


• Institute internal control measures for financial management


• Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly closing of financial books.


• Reconciliation of account payables and receivables


• Ensure timely lodgment of cash and cheques into the company’s account.


• Ensure accurate computation, classification, and filing of taxes.


• Ensure proper and confidential security of physical and electronics financial data, as well as regular backup of electronic versions.

RequirementsRequired Competence / Skills.

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field,


• MSC in accounting and/or professional certifications will be an added advantage.


• Minimum of 8 years cognate experience.


• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, and International Financial Reporting standard (IFRS).


• Hands-on experience with accounting softwares like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.


• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills


• Leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
