Summary:

A Loan Collector is responsible for retrieving the loans the company/organization has given out to customers at the appropriate or given time. To be able to perform effectively, it is important that the individual possess great customer service, persuasion, problem solving and communication skills.

Job Description:

Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments

Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status via telephone

Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans

Collecting payment on debts.

Understanding reasons for late payment.

Ensuring the resolution of delinquent accounts.

Tracking outstanding debts.

Plan course of action to recover money owed.

Negotiating payoff deadlines and payment plans.

Adherence to call script and call center policies.

Requirements:

• SSCE/OND certificate


• Proven experience as a debt collector


• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines


• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements


• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases


• Excellent communication and people skills


• Apt in negotiating and persuading


• Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
