Job Description

• Prepare Board Packs for Spring Waters Nigeria Ltd and UAC Foods Ltd: Board packs, Audit & Risk pack, Governance and Remuneration pack


•  Preparation of Monthly consolidated Financial Statement for UFL and SWAN


• Preparation of monthly financial statement reports for UAC foods Limited and Spring Waters Nig. Limited 


•  Supervises end-of-month activities and processes.


• Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles


• Supervise physical verification of the company’s Non-Current Assets, reconcile the books and update the records as appropriate.


• Monitors compliance with authority schedules, accounting controls, policies and procedures and report deviations.


•  Supervises prompt reconciliation of all relevant balance sheet accounts and follow up with unresolved issues.


• Participates in the internal and external audit and ensure implementation of recommendations arising thereon


•  Other stakeholders


•  Manage and develop reporting line professional competence 


• Carries out other tasks as may be assigned by the Finance Manager and Finance Director.

Job Requirements

•  Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a reputable manufacturing company as a Financial Accountant.


• Professional accreditation: ACA/CPA/ACCA/ACMA 


•  An analytical mind


•  Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships


•  Commercial and business awareness


•  Good communication skills – both written and verbal


•  A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data


• Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints.
