Job Purpose



  • As a The Supply Chain Operations Finance Manager, you will provide critical finance advisory services to strategic leadership as to the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profit of the organization, monitoring efficiencies and productivity projects which serve as input to the Integrated Supply Chain deliverables.

  • The key areas of focus will be Supply Chain P&L/Balance Sheet accounting, Inventory, and support of the annual planning processes. 


Job Responsibilities



  • Providing financial advice for all sub-function within the Integrated Supply Chain – Outbound Logistic, Planning, Export and Import, Core supply KPIs and Capex Spend Monitoring and Controls.

  • Business partnering with multiple stakeholders across supply chain and commercial to set strategic directions (monthly OPEX and CAPEX KPIs), discuss productivity improvements, evaluate suppliers, and support the overall business function.

  • Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries, and financial statements with respect to Integrated Business Plan – (Commercial - Supply Chain and Operations - Fulfillment).

  • Provide adequate supervision of the inventory audit process for all Supply Chain warehouses and ensure warehouses are compliant with corporate financial accounting policies.

  • Support Commercial Planning team in developing a monthly forecast and supply outlook.

  • Monitoring and tracking cost saving initiatives and forecasting impact on Margins and impact on profitability.

  • Work with logistics teams to ensure the efficient movement of goods while minimizing costs

  • Negotiating and obtaining finance for major supply projects.


Requirements


Special Skills and Qualifications:



  • Minimum educational level – Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. (A Higher degrees/MBA/would be of added advantage.)

  • A certified Accountant – ICAN, ACCA, CIMA Certification.

  • 5 - 7 years finance experience partnering supply chain within Logistics, distribution and/or FMCG industry. The last 4 years should be in Managerial position.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint), and appropriate accounting and ERP systems/packages.

  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities

  • Sound business knowledge

  • Accuracy and an eye for detail.

  • Strong Financial Business Partnering Skill.
