About this opportunity

Looking for a site supervisor/Site Engineer for MTN NG who will be responsible for the deployment of Cloud and Application infrastructure across customer data centers.

What you will do

• Work as a SPOC for all Hardware receipts and installation across sites following SID plans for deployment/installation of data center


• Help and work with MTN to segregate Hardware as necessary and keep a close inventory of all received Hardware


• Monitor all software and hardware products and ensure compliance to Data Center standards and systems.


• Administer installation of servers/components at various data centers.


• Monitor all activities related to analysis and implement all data center plans.


• Supervise designing and evaluation of all server systems according to the measurement of the process.


• Perform troubleshooting on data center, identify issues, and assist in timely resolution of same.


• Ensure adherence to all established guidelines and management practices for employees.


• Coordinate with various departments and perform integration of critical systems into infrastructure.


• Coordinate with Ericsson and customer teams to ensure smooth hardware deployment activities


• Maintain effective professional relationships with customer counterparts and Ericsson teams.


• Monitor and coordinates with all ASP resources for the smooth functioning of data center deployment activities


• Regular status reporting to Ericsson and customer stakeholders

You will bring

• BSc, MSc, or higher level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge


• Proven solid experience with Implementing Cloud solutions


• Familiarity with cloud-native principles e.g. Scalability, service-based architecture, Kubernetes and network plugins, helm charts


• It´s a plus if you have a keen understanding of IP protocols and IP-based routing in an embedded environment and a passion to learn and develop new skills.
