JOB INDUSTRY: Oil & Gas (Downstream) Sector
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Qualification – B.Sc./HND in Accounting or Finance
- A Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage
- Experience in Oil and Gas Logistics is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Proficient knowledge of ERP Application
- Applicant must be resident within Apapa and its environs
- Use Job Title or Position being applied for as subject of mail and Application letter
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage entities balance sheets, profit/loss statements and account reconciliations
- Keeping tracks of all payments and expenses while ensuring accuracy of General ledger and sub-ledgers
- Tracking of consignments and performing of vessels reconciliations
- Confirmation of customers payment into entities accounts and Reconciliations of bank statement with product loaded daily
- Posting of transactions and approving of posted transactions on Tally, Depoma and other software daily
- Reconciles bank statements, record payments to various account, reconciles and balances interfund ledger account
- Consolidate data with other Trading affiliates
- Preparation of payroll upon receipt of instructions from HR
- Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
- Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
- Document and manage Tax files – WHT, VAT, PAYE, PENSION etc.
- Maintain fixed asset schedule and register of assigned company assets
- Process asset additions, disposals, acquisitions and divestitures along with asset depreciation computation
- Reporting daily/weekly/monthly to line manager
- Other duties as assigned by line manager
