Job Description
- Daily drainage of storage tanks and quality control analysis.
- Daily storage tank DIP and Stock calculation.
- Quality control on Bridger receipt and refueler loading.
- Ensure quality checks on received product are in line with the work instruction.
- Accurately record the relevant forms and document observed.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the tank farm, ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Supervise the loading and unloading of petroleum products from the tank farm.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that tanks are properly labeled and marked.
- Conduct regular inspections of tanks, pipelines, and valves to ensure they are in good working order.
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for tanks, pipelines, and valves.
- Train and supervise tank farm staff, ensuring that they are properly trained in safety procedures and job responsibilities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory, product movement, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with other departments, including sales and marketing, to ensure that products are available when needed.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product quality and consistency.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum of OND in any numerical field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in tank farm operations or related field.
- Experience in supervising a team of employees.
