Job Summary



  • To ensure timely and efficient generation of management accounting information bank-wide and render to regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting guidelines


Functions & Responsibilities



  • Provide visionary leadership and direction for the team and guide their activities to ensure the achievement of their current to medium-term strategies.

  • Review statutory reports to external bodies to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • Review and ensure optimal utilization of human and material resource allocation within the teasm and make recommendations to the CFO.

  • Monitor total compliance with all regulations and make recommendations to the Head, Reporting

  • Review and agree short term action plans of such unit within the group with the Unit Head

  • Manage correspondences, engagements and relationships with regulators

  • Take necessary and prompt corrective actions to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the group

  • Monitor the performance of subordinates’ areas of responsibility in attaining established business objective.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head, Reporting


Professional Requirements



  • A good first degree in any discipline plus Professional Accounting Certification; ICAN, ACCA or CITN. Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage

  • Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience in Finance & Management Reporting within the Financial Services Industry, with at least 4 years in Banking
