Job Description:

• Prepare workplans and budgets for annual seed production activities (out-growers), including scheduling restocking of seeds based on quality parameters.


• Coordinate seed processing activities and manage warehousing operations.


• Conduct and manage field trials and seed production activities.


• Collect, analyze, and present data and results to the scientific community.


• Perform laboratory tests on soil, seed, and crop samples.


• Establish seed and vegetable production fields.


• Set up demonstration plots for training farmers on good agronomic practices.


• Develop quick production guides for crops such as tomatoes, cucumber, maize, soybean, rice, and yam.


• Train and supervise general staff.


• Prepare budgets, technical reports, and financial reports on project activities.


• Carry out any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Hold an M.Sc in Agriculture with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a B.Sc in Agriculture or a related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.


• Experience in processing sesame, soybeans, ginger, and turmeric will be an added advantage.


• Must be ready to work in a remote area.
