Prepare workplans and budgets for annual seed production activities (out-growers), including scheduling restocking of seeds based on quality parameters.
Coordinate seed processing activities and manage warehousing operations.
Conduct and manage field trials and seed production activities.
Collect, analyze, and present data and results to the scientific community.
Perform laboratory tests on soil, seed, and crop samples.
Establish seed and vegetable production fields.
Set up demonstration plots for training farmers on good agronomic practices.
Develop quick production guides for crops such as tomatoes, cucumber, maize, soybean, rice, and yam.
Train and supervise general staff.
Prepare budgets, technical reports, and financial reports on project activities.
Carry out any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Hold an M.Sc in Agriculture with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a B.Sc in Agriculture or a related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Experience in processing sesame, soybeans, ginger, and turmeric will be an added advantage.
