Plan and manage the company's logistics, warehouses, transportation, and customer services strategically.
Full logistics and order cycle direction, optimization, and coordination.
Manage and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's delivery, fleet and transportation issues for goods and services rendered at all times.
Communicate and bargain with manufacturers, retailers, and customers.
Manage and update the company's database for vendors and suppliers.
Keep track of efficiency, quality, quantity, stock levels, and delivery schedules.
Plan routes, catalogue products, set up a warehouse, and handle shipments.
Address any issues or grievances that may arise.
Overseeing, mentoring, and training warehouse staff.
Reach the goals for cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
To evaluate performance and make improvements, keep metrics up to date and do data analysis of the supply chain.
Abide by all applicable laws, rules, and ISO standards.
Qualifications
BA / B.Sc / B.Tech qualification.
Minimum of 2 years in active procurement and logistics capacity.
Proven success as a company logistics officer.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills.
Must possess exceptional negotiation skills.
Must be willing to connect and work with a wide range of clients, suppliers and vendors with utmost diplomacy.
Excellent knowledge of construction logistics and procurement procedure is a must.
Successful distribution and logistics management track record and demonstrable work experience as a logistics manager.
A proven capacity for managing and leading a logistics team.
