The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible to address the growing demand of the Meters business and to participate in the analysis and preparation of technical and commercial offers.
Responsibilities
Support sales representatives to increase their productivity and to have more time for the sales operations.
Supporting in getting approvals for our products from the utilities or any other entity.
Study the market with the on-ground sales team.
Contact customers to get extra data needed for the request for quotations (RFQ)
Manager & guide the back-office team in the daily tasks (handling inquiries, offers preparation,..etc)
Follow up on orders & delivery dates and to make sure that sales representatives have available quantities of sales support material such as product brochures.
Work on standardized and specific meters models per utility.
Review orders when received to make sure that prices, payment terms, conditions, required delivery, items description etc… are correct and related to pre-offer, and directly contact the customers to solve any problems.
Make sure from orders accuracy and that they are processed on time with the different department till it reach planning department and get a delivery date, to be communicated with the client.
Communicate with customer through sales team to inform them in case if any delays and discuss alternative solution and availability for delivery.
Update the sales records on weekly basis and report it to the manager.
Responsible to gather all supporting documents (such as Technical offer, Certificates etc…) to be submitted with the offer.
Responsible of product launching to create market awareness.
Accountable for the product/factory certification.
Manage technical relationship with the regulatory, local MAPs, customers, and end user.
Responsible of sizing the market to map it
Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
Managing the technical visits in Nigeria factory to satisfy customer technical business needs.
Plan monthly follow up visits to utilities to follow up on HES/integration.
Qualifications
BSc / BA in Engineering or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
3 years of experience in the field in a local factories/ local MAPs/ utility company.
Well-organized, attentive to details and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
