Setting the overall strategic direction of the company alongside the board.
Driving the marketing, branding, project and business development activities in the Energy, Oil & Gas (downstream), Manufacturing and other Sectors.
Planning and implementing long term business strategies to achieve the company’s objectives.
Devising short – long term plan and working with other board members to oversee its implementation.
Carrying out regular SWOT analysis to mitigate any potential risks through industry or market changes.
Analysing opportunities for growth in market segments to drive profitability.
Sourcing for strategic partnerships, new businesses and projects (local & international).
Prepare well tailored business documentation (i.e., proposals, pitch decks, one-pagers MOUs, contracts e.t.c.) to drive actualisation of overall business goals and objectives.
Improve existing service/product lines and develop new ones.
Employ proven strategies to promote and maiantain strategic engagments with existing and new clients/stakeholders.
Periodically review all marketing/communication assets and material offline/online to ensure communications are clear, concise and convincing.
Prepare and present monthly marketing sales report to management for decision making.
Participate in all strategic business meetings and events for brand exposure and to acquire new prospects.
Requirements
BSc. / MSc. / MBA in Business Administration or arelated field.
4-5 years proven experience as a Business Development Manager
Minimum of 4-5 years working in an oil & gas industry, preferably lubricants
Proven track record of closing big businesses and driving revenues
