You'll collaborate with other team members and troubleshoot any issues.
A mechanical engineering degree and relevant experience are required, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience working in a construction environment.
Key Tasks
Plan the plumbing and mechanical engineering work with the Construction Manager and efficiently organise the site to meet agreed deadlines.
Supervise and monitor the plumbing subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
Set out, level and survey the site with the Construction Surveyor for plumbing and mechanical works.
Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents.
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Prepare reports as required.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Eng / B.Tech qualification with 5 - 10 years work experience.
