Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Product Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to contribute to the entire product design lifecycle, from concept development to final implementation. As a Junior Product Designer, you will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the success of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of innovative design concepts and solutions that align with the product vision and user needs.


• Collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand project goals, and contribute to design discussions.


• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and user interactions effectively.


• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on existing designs.


• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure the feasibility of design concepts and provide support during the implementation phase.


• Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency across products.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance design skills continuously and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc or HND.Relevant design certifications or course work are a plus.


• Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD , and Figma.


• Knowledge of user research techniques, usability testing methodologies, and an ability to apply research findings to inform design decisions.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• A collaborative and open-minded approach, with the ability to accept and incorporate feedback from peers and senior team members.


• A passion for user-centered design, emerging technologies, and a desire to learn and grow within the field of product design.

Salary NGN100-150,000 per month
