Job Description

• Strategic investor relations planning and implementation.


• Coordinates meetings with sector analysts, existing and potential investors to educate and inform on growth, quality and risk.


• Manages Media relations activity to reinforce the investment story and to present company spokesmen as Industry specialists, thereby raising the profile of the company.


• Ensures consistent and upward flow of information to the senior management and the board - keeping them abreast of the opportunities in the capital market


• Manage disclosure policy.


• Announcement results and reports corporate deals.


• Organises Investor roadshows after major announcements.


• Builds relationships with and influencing sell-side analysts to get quality coverage of the company stock.


• Monitors analyst estimates (consensus) and circulating analyst research within the company.


• Reports market/sector feedback and reaction to the Board and briefing the Board on likely market reaction prior to release of information.


• Maintains a dynamic, realistic and flexible calendar which is constructed to aid the achievement of the Company’s IR goals in the shorter term and objectives longer term.

Qualifications and Experience

• BA / B.Sc in Finance or Accounting.


• Master's Degree in Finance will be added advantage


• CFA will be an added advantage and other relevant professional certification


• Minimum of 10 or more years experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community 5+ years’ experience in managing an investor relations department.


• Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements.
