Main Responsibilities



  • Profile the Nigerian market to identify key segments/institutions/corporations for possible strategic alliance to expand/strengthen the Banks’ business operations.

  • Maintain contacts/relations with customers after corporate accounts have been opened or service delivered and ensure that customers are informed of important issues pertaining to their accounts.

  • Periodic product performance assessment and review where necessary.

  • New product development to reach new markets satisfy evolving market demands.

  • Constant staff engagement and product knowledge for Accounts Officers.

  • Monitor the performance of branches across all value chain products and provide support to Account Officers and their supervisors.

  • Develop and grow the bank’s Value Chain products and meet agreed targets by building relationship with FCMGs, HNIs, Associations and Corporate entities and Insurance Companies.

  • Maximize customer Satisfaction by ensuring quick and professional service delivery and prompt complaints management/resolution.

  • Work with Account Officers to target Loan clients to bring all their business partners/Associates, suppliers and distributors to the bank.

  • Leverage market engagement, and market research to support product review and new products development.

  • Understand the target market specifications and bespoke product offerings, including industry, and market analyses to guide service/product offerings and market strategies.

  • Engage customer segments, sales teams, and gather market intelligence to support/guide product review and development efforts.

  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within identified target markets

  • Promote the Bank referral system to expand Loan clients.

  • Plan and organize market storms and survey of target market segments as may be required from time to time.

  • Maintain constant monitoring of the organization’s niche market developments and advise top management of factors that may have an impact on the organization operations

  • Collaborate with management to support and implement growth strategies

  • Display a high level of professionalism and ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

  • Ensure the image of the Bank is held in the highest regards in the Financial service offerings to clients

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Superviso


Required Qualifications and Experience



  • Minimum Education Qualification of a B.Sc or HND in Marketing, Business Management, Banking and Finance, Economics or related fields with numerate coursework.

  • Higher Degree and professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

  • A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience, 7 years must have been spent in the financial services sector and 5 years in a Mid Management Position.


Competency / Skill Requirements:



  • In depth knowledge of corporate and retail banking

  • Familiar with customers at the Bottom of the Pyramid

  • Superior people and project management skills; able to coach and motivate a team

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive teams

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to think strategically and holistically.

  • Must have a high sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity and ethical standards.

  • Project development and management experience: detail and process oriented.

  • Digitally and technology savvy

  • Good relationship management and managing corporate solutions will be of added advantage

  • Strong communication skills.
