Lineage Clothings are looking for a Fashion Designer and illustrator

• Forward, creative and proactive thinking as well as an ability to work unsupervised.


• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.


• Managing the design process from conception through to final styling


• Handling clients' consultation sessions Ability to fashion illustrate using computer-generated images.


• Ability to communicate both technical and creative ideas to the creative director.


• Liaising with customers and vendors.


• Assisting clients in making design decisions by proposing changes or alterations. Inspecting fabric/end design to look for design or production errors.


• Performing extensive market trend research to understand competitive opportunities


• A big advantage will be an individual that can use graphic packages to draw designs.

Qualifications

• Education in a Fashion School is highly required


• Practical experience in Fashion Design Illustration/Merchandising with proof is highly required


• Min of 2 years’ experience in garment production management


• Knowledge and understanding of fabrics and print techniques


• Must have a full understanding of garment construction (start to finish); that is patterning, cutting, draping, sewing and the difference sewing techniques to achieve design.


• Must be meticulous in record keeping, production schedule, time management and then eye for detail and quality products.


• Ability to use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat +( for Fashion Illustration) Microsoft Excel +Word, Google Docs

Salary N80k-100k depending on experience. 

NOTE: Sewing Clothing is NOT part of the job description in this role. Mainly, the design, process and illustration.
