The ideal candidate for this role is expected to possess ACA/ICAN/ACA membership with an exam written. S/he should also have an understanding of accounting and financial principles and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Update internal systems with financial data
Assist with filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, expenses and other documents.
Work with bookkeeping software.
Compile and analyze data.
Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the Finance department and office operations.
Participate in financial audits
Review and implement financial policies
Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
Minimum of 1-3 years Pre/Post-NYSC experience in a finance role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and accounting software.
High attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a good business judgment
Membership of a recognized professional accounting body - CFA, ACCA or ICAN is desirable
