Job Purpose



  • This role is expected to provide quality storekeeping services to Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL).

  • This generally includes, supervision of receipt and issue of items, maintaining proper inventory records, monitoring and reporting inventory levels, ensuring products safety and reconciliation of records.


Key Accountabilities



  • Ensuring storekeepers and loaders activities are well supervised and working in compliance with inventory guidelines

  • Ensuring that quantity of inventory is monitored to prevent production downtime.

  • Ensuring availability of space for storage requirements.

  • Evacuation of products to working cold rooms in case of breakdown.

  • Issuing of Production materials and other inventories where necessary using the FIFO system of issuance.

  • Raising of the Store issue Voucher to user departments on issuing of items as well as maintaining record of all operations performed (Record keeping).

  • Review of all delivery notes, store issue voucher (SIV), production transfer note (PTN) and all other documents for the day and report any issue sighted for correction.

  • Recording and posting of inventory items on the ERP systems (Odoo).

  • Receiving crates and ensuring they are cleaned and stored properly for Supply Chain activities.

  • Using strictly the FIFO system in issuing, monitoring and reporting of inventory.

  • Reporting of any faulty or damaged parts under the staff assigned Stores section.

  • Carry out daily and weekly inventory count and warehouse reconciliation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by line managers.


Requirements



  • HND / B.Sc in Accounting / Inventory Management or in any related field.

  • Relevant Working experience of not less than 5 years.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Any relevant Storekeeping/Warehousing certification or knowledge of ERP software will be an added advantage.

  • Problem-solving.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to use IT applications and ERP systems.

  • An analytic mind and good numeracy skills.

  • Good relationship skills and organization skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Good documentary, analysis and reporting skills.

  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and conflicting priorities.
