Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct investigations to assess the damage, estimate costs and market value, review reports and other documents, and determine settlement amounts

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

  • Solely responsible for securing new business for the organization, setting goals, and developing plans in order to achieve business and revenue growth.

  • Get advice from other external specialists, such as loss adjusters and forensic accountants, on complex cases

  • Analyze a claim made by a policymaker to establish whether it satisfies the policy conditions

  • Analyze and investigate complicated insurance claims to help prevent fraud.

  • Manage all administration aspects of the claim, ensuring that case notes, logs, and diaries for each customer are completed on time and accurately

  • Uphold relationships and communication with insurance firms and clients.

  • Examine claims and files to ensure that all company and industry standards have been met

  • Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations, and customer quality standards set by the company.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, and key stakeholders.

  • Working alongside a legal counsel team in claims involving litigation


Requirements



  • First degree in business administration or any related field

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Claims advisor/Sales consultant

  • Proven work experience in loss adjustment from an insurance sector

  • Excellent customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in order to provide relevant and accurate information to customers

  • Administrative, organizational, and time management skills

  • The ability to work well under pressure

  • Excellent knowledge of the latest local, state, and federal insurance-related policies.

  • Good understanding of insurance claims negotiation and settlement techniques.
