Job Summary



  • We are seeking to employ an IT support officer to assist the IT lead in driving technological innovation and ensuring the smooth running of all applicable IT infrastructure.

  • The candidate will also be expected to provide essential end-user support for all in-house personnel as well all personnel on any project ongoing within the company at any given time while the employment persists.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Analyzing data to recommend improvements to existing systems or processes.

  • Setting up new computers, networks, and software for new employees

  • Providing support to IT staff by answering phones, processing paperwork, and responding to user requests

  • Supporting the maintenance of existing computer systems, including troubleshooting problems with hardware and software

  • Assisting with computer network security by scanning for vulnerabilities and viruses

  • Installing operating systems and other computer software applications on new computers

  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all technological tools are working properly for the company.

  • Collecting, analysing, and storing data for use in reports

  • Providing technical support for computer hardware and software issues


Qualification



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 3-5 years' experience in information technology management

  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills required.

  • Experience in digital marketing with strong knowledge of social media

  • Providing user training, support, advice and feedback

  • Highly adept in Microsoft Office and Office 365 ERP

  • Strong adeptness to Microsoft Teams

  • Basic knowledge of programming on SharePoint

  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing and internet security protocols

  • Strong customer-facing skills

  • Exceptional research capabilities.
