Duties



  • Oversee the overall operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe storage, handling, and distribution of goods.

  • Manage and optimize inventory levels, including receiving, inspecting, and reconciling incoming shipments, and conducting regular inventory counts.

  • Develop and implement procedures to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff.

  • Utilize warehouse management systems and technology to track inventory, monitor performance, and generate reports.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize loss or damage.


Skills and Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience.

  • 7 - 10 years relevant work experience.

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution processes.

  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software for inventory tracking and reporting.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
