Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer resident in Abuja who possess knowledge of the following:

• Project supervision


• CAD software - use of computer-aided design (CAD)


• Knowledge of Electrical design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of construction and installation work of all Electrical equipment, generating plants, Electrical Panels and pipeline engineering.


• Liaise with other disciplines on site to make sure that Electrical installation are as per design


• Prepare & submit project report & progress reports as appropriate


• Supervise project commissioning


• Supervise Electrical testing on site


• Prepare defects and snag list


• Implement management procedure and system on site


• Attending project meetings


• Supplying Contractor(s) the Project Procedures Manual and enlightening him on correspondence formats, reports, etc.


• Review contractor’s programme of works and advise management where needed


• Review contractor’s As-built drawing

Requirements

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering; M.Sc. is a plus


• At least 5 years relevant work experience as an Electrical design Engineer.


• COREN registered


• Experience in Building Supervision


• CAD software - use of computer-aided design (CAD)


• Deep knowledge of Electrical processes


• Proven expertise as an Electrical engineer


• Hands-on experience using design and calculation software


• Understanding of Electrical engineering codes and safety standards


• Strong organizational and communication skills.
