Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects of new products, development, and improvement of existing products towards ensuring accomplishment of organizations goals


• Review and recommend preparation of proposal drawings.


• Recommend appropriate materials, tolerances, GD&T, for a design.


• Provide support for design related issues that arise during production


• Create and refine mechanical part and assembly drawings to capture design intent and document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals.


• Ensure budget efficiency for each production project.


• Coordinate activities of Mechanical team

Requirements

• 1st degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or any related field.


• A master’s degree will be an added advantage


• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role


• Good understanding of 3D Mechanical design with inventor or solid works and solid Edge


• In-depth knowledge of 3D Modelling & 2D CAD applications: Inventor, Solidworks and Fusion360


• Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication will be an advantage.


• Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and customer satisfaction.


• Good oral and written communication skills.
