About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer who is capable of managing client-facing Quality Assurance, executing mobile app and website tests, as well as technically proficient in Quality Assurance of APIs via Postman and database checks. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality. You should also have experience with a variety of QA tools and methodologies for both front-end and back-end testing.

What you will be doing:

• Review and analyze system specifications in collaboration with the Engineering team.


• Develop effective strategies and test plans, and execute test cases (manual or automated) with precision.


• Evaluate product code according to specifications and analyze the results meticulously.


• Create comprehensive logs to document testing phases and defects.


• Report bugs and errors to development teams in a clear and timely manner.


• Conduct troubleshooting and cooperate with the team to resolve issues.


• Lead post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure optimal product performance.


• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.


• Validate API functionality via tools such as Postman.


• Perform QA checks on databases to ensure data consistency and integrity.


• Use a variety of QA tools including Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Cypress, Jest, TestCafe, Mocha/Chai, and Katalon Studio for comprehensive testing.


• Be the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs are met at all stages of the development process.

You should apply if you have:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.


• Proficiency in client-facing QA including mobile apps and websites.


• Experience with various QA tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Cypress, Jest, TestCafe, Mocha/Chai, and Katalon Studio.


• Familiarity with APIs, ability to perform QA checks using tools like Postman.


• Comfortable working with databases, and performing necessary QA checks.


• Experience in project management and QA methodology.


• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.


• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors efficiently.


• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.


• Excellent communication skills to convey information to the development team and stakeholders effectively.


• A keen eye for detail and high standards of accuracy.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Exceptional organizational skills to keep track of all QA initiatives.
