Job Summary:

• The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, database integration, and API services for our web and mobile applications.


• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backend technologies and frameworks, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the frontend development team to understand application requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable backend solutions.


• Design and develop server-side logic and APIs to support the functionality of web and mobile applications.


• Integrate databases and data storage solutions into the backend architecture.


• Optimize application performance by implementing efficient caching mechanisms and improving database query performance.


• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain backend applications on various hosting environments.


• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend services to ensure high-quality deliverables.


• Work closely with the product management team to understand user requirements and propose innovative solutions.


• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development.


• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of backend projects.


• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Java.


• Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, Express.js, Ruby on Rails, or Spring.


• Solid understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.


• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other web service protocols.


• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex backend issues.


• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.


• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.


• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
