About the job



  • Evaluating new business development opportunities, including analyzing potential markets, assessing client needs, and identifying competitors

  • Developing a plan for growth that includes goals, strategies, and tactics for increasing market share in existing markets or creating new ones

  • Developing and implementing new products or services that meet customer needs, such as new software applications or mobile apps

  • Creating and implementing strategies to acquire new customers or increase sales to existing customers

  • Researching new technologies that could have an impact on the company’s industry or business model

  • Analyzing the company’s financial performance against its competitors

  • Designing and implementing strategic plans for the company’s future growth or restructuring to help it meet its goals

  • Drive execution of go-to-market product strategies, ensuring that they result in significant funnel growth/new customer wins based on the value proposition.

  • Create a strategic plan for revenue growth by channel & managed multiple cross-functional teams

  • Drive collaboration with the Product Development team to document feedback and shape the product roadmap.

  • Define the key marketing priorities and KPIs with the product team.

  • Define insights, hypothesis, and roadmap of testing as well as market priority for the African market.

  • Drive A/B and multivariate testing programs to continually improve ad and channel performance.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related discipline

  • MBA or other advanced degrees

  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment

  • Experience with CRM software and marketing automation tools

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, or related field

  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing the growth strategy

  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams

  • Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making

  • Strong project management skills and ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
